Calendula seeds - Pot full of sunshine - Grow your own

These lovely seeds were harvested from my own crop of calendula flowers. They were gathered with care from Big Momma's (biggest bush in the garden) yellow and orange flowers. Once grown, flowers will keep away the tiny insects that invade your veggies, create a blanket of yellow/orange in your garden and beautiful as dried flowers.

Calendula is a cool-season annual, and it's best to sow the seeds directly in the garden in early spring or late fall, depending on your climate. Calendula loves a well-drained sunny spot and planted 1" or 2" into the soil. Water well until leaves emerge. Easy plants to take care of. Oh, they are terrific in pots as well. 

The shipping is a bit high these days, so to make it worth your while, I measured by ounces and grams. and this packet weighs 2 oz or 57 grams.
